When to Call Across Time Zones
Quickly compare time zones, working hours and availability so you always call at the right time.
A collection of practical apps for travel, shopping, driving and everyday jobs — designed to solve small problems simply and well.
Most started because I wanted something myself. Once I had built something useful, I wanted to share it for free in case it was useful to other people too.
Small focused tools that do one useful job without unnecessary complexity, subscriptions or account setup.
Quickly compare time zones, working hours and availability so you always call at the right time.
Compare currency values, check everyday prices against home, and scan menus or receipts to make fast money decisions abroad.
When to Tip is a simple travel tipping calculator for working out tips, taxes and totals using local currencies and country guidance.
This app quickly adds or removes VAT, GST, sales tax and other shopping taxes, with practical guidance for 94 countries.
Compare current fuel prices, track fill-ups and MPG, and estimate fuel costs for your car and journeys.
This app saves your parking location, photos and useful clues, tracks your parking time, and helps you find your way back.
When Can I Drive? is a safety-first alcohol timeline app that helps estimate when alcohol may have reduced in your system. Estimates only — never rely on it to decide if you are fit to drive.
Different sizes, quantities and offers can make a simple shopping decision surprisingly difficult. This app puts every option on the same basis so you can see which gives you better value.
Quick equal splits, smarter weighted splits, or itemise only what matters. This app is designed to answer the question that matters: who should pay what?
This app converts everyday units, shows memorable reference points, and keeps useful personal values close at hand.
Save everyday measurements with photos, visual diagrams and notes so you can find and understand them again when you need them.
Out of principle, I want my apps to be free to use without hidden subscriptions or unexpected costs. Some include adverts, mainly to help cover things such as hosting, development services and app store fees.
More about the projectI build these apps in my own time because I enjoy the whole process. Product design is also my day job, so although they are personal projects, I still care a lot about how they work, how they look and whether they are genuinely useful.
